A Dinner Table for Thunder

Using some scraps left over from the bookcase I built for Ann, I constructed this little table for Thunder. I used a piece of 3/4" birch plywood to form most of it. The top is flat and I dadoed the grooves for the legs (splayed out at 10 degrees). Then I ripped some 1"x3" maple stock down to 3/4"x3/4" strips to trim the edges. Next, I cut some 1"x2" maple for supports. I rounded all the edges over with a 1/4" router bit. Then, I glued and nailed everything together. Last, I filled and sanded the nail holes, before applying several coats of polyurethane. Thunder, seems to like it and now he doesn't have to bend too far over to eat and drink.
