The Queen Ann Bookcase

After using some tax return money to buy a sweet new table saw , I had to justify the purchase by building something Ann would like. We needed a bookshelf for the office and I was wanting to take on a more challenging project. I gathered lumber (birch plywood and maple trim) and supplies from Home Depot, Michigan Lumber and Lee Valley, then started building the bookcase below.
